Oh Sculptor

One of my high school projects from 11th grade. I think this was the first canvas I ever stretched and it was rather large. I left it unprimed and just painted it in India ink and guache (as watercolor like I'd been using on my paper pieces wouldn't take). I used characters from I'd been working with.

I was in high school so I wasn't allowed to have red for the rabbit blood. So that section is in shades of grey instead. I ended up gifting this painting to my 9th grade English teacher when I graduated because she loved it so much when my art teacher hung it in the hallway to antagonize the visiting superintendent.
