Death Spirit Warding

This was my first illustration using Affinity products and I was blown away with the built-in brushes, though I also loaded in some packs I picked up for cheap as well as my old PS-compatible brushes I've collected over the years. I used the pixel/Photo persona of Affinity Designer, but Designer allowed me to work outside the bounds of the canvas to lay out reference images and continued sketches as I pleased.

This is an illustration of a multigenerational kinfolk family assisting a severely injured family member barely hanging onto life. The elder of the two sisters works to send away the death spirits.
