Wolverine Watercolor Portrait

This is a portrait of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine in the original X-men (made by Fox, owned by Marvel) movie trilogy I did for my university illustration class. I used India ink and watercolor, in colors appropriate to the Weapon X nightmare sequence themes. Painting individual facial hairs in places was pretty calming during finals week. I did the watercolor layers first and then added the ink on top, a reverse from my usual process.
