Hannah's Symbiote

This is the second painting in my high school final series, a trio around symbiote using mixed painting techniques - mostly linseed oil and damar varnish to make the oil paint behave largely like watercolor, but thicker applications for the symbiote itself. The subject for this painting is another of my sisters in our childhood home, with one of our cats. The symbiote bursts from the air vent and ensnares the oblivious subject as the cat looks on, aware.
